Advancing Workforce Equity Conversation Hosted by The Dec Network and United Way

  • Thursday, Jun 24, 2021 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM CDT

Sorry, this event is not available.

This event was available from Saturday, January 9, 2021 12:00 AM until the event start date.

Join Us For a Conversation about Race, Jobs and Opportunity.

You are invited to join us for an important conversation about the impact of structural racism on wage and employment outcomes for workers of color—as detailed in the newly released report, Advancing Workforce Equity in Dallas and Collin Counties: A Blueprint for Action.

Funded by JPMorgan Chase & Co., this report highlights employment, occupation and wage data disaggregated by race and ethnicity. It also explores the “social determinants of work”—access to affordable housing, health and healthcare, transportation, and childcare—that help to determine who secures good jobs and how the future of work will impact workers of color. As entrepreneurs, you will learn about the role you can play in creating a more equitable workforce.
